I wrestled with what to call this part of the site. Blog didn't really describe it as a blog is traditionally more of a public diary or journal of the writer's life and experiences.
What I really wanted to create was more of a magazine, a collection of articles all relating to skateboarding in some way, augmented by ads for my skateboards and perhaps other related advertising that you may find interesting too.
However, when I think of magazines I think of teams of editors, writers, artists, and ad sales people all coming together to make a print publication. That, definitely, is not what this is. It's just me writing an article every now and then about skateboarding.
This part of the site is more of a mixture of the two, part blog, part magazine, so I'm calling it a 'Blogazine'. I'm not the first to coin the phrase by any means. I'm not claiming to be. I just haven't heard the word used a great deal so, in case you haven't either, now you know.
This blogazine will be focussed entirely on skateboarding and things related to it. Specifically I'll write about my skateboard designs, skate videos, skate trips, and anything else that I think would be of interest to you, fellow skateboarders.
This is the inaugural post. I hope to write more from now and into the future.
